Handcrafted to the highest standards

Handcrafted to the highest standards, the heirloom quality cache is a gorgeous way to store and display your watch collection. Robert uses select timber which is purchased rough sawn from the mill. He meticulously planes the timber to it’s final dimensions. The case is constructed with mitered edges and continuous grain direction around all sides of the case. Twelve wood splines in a complimentary wood type inlaid into the corners of the case. This gives a beautifully handcrafted look and feel to the piece and adds strength to the miter joints. A chamfered glass top and hand cut cove molding adorns the interior of the case. Top of the SOSS hinges and the finest box lock available (imported from Ireland) are mortised by hand into the case. The watch display area consists of ten wood dividers with a beautifully crafted arches. Velvet pillows (included) lay perfectly into each of the dividers to display and protect your watch.

How the case is finished

The case pictured is walnut with white oak accents. Contact Robert for photos of additional timber selections. Robert’s work is always finished by hand with several coats of oil and wax giving it an heirloom quality “touchable” finish. Robert never uses stain, instead choosing to highlight the grain and color of the timber letting mother natures beauty take center stage.
