Working on a custom designed display case for Master Engraver Melissa McMinn’s “When the Levee Breaks” hand engraved Cabot 1911. A handcrafted display with rotating pedestal and museum quality glass. The case is being build from a two inch thick salvaged slab of Magnolia which revealed handsome spalting and gorgeous worm holes. The legs and cove molding were carved by hand. The interior will feature an upholstered black interior. The hand engraved pistol will rest on a remote controlled pedestal inside the case for 360 degree viewing.
I have something very special to share soon! Pistol Display Case No.62 was handcrafted for a very famous person. Stay tuned for photos!
Excited to see my work in this months Architectural Digest Magazine- White Oak Tufted Ottoman. The piece was designed and built for a 1940s Volt British Colonial sited on the highest point on the Island of Palm Beach. The Ottoman was a collaboration of work between myself, John Scanlan (my bench mate at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship) and Shelby Parker Design. The article features incredible furniture pieces and design elements chosen for the home.

An incredible 1890 engraved Colt Army Revolver! I will be crafting a beautiful ebonized oak and black velvet case with glass top, mortised concealed hinges and mortised locking mechanism with escutcheon!
